Community Organized Relief Efforts (CORE) - Head of Communications and Community Engagement - COVID-19 Response, NYC

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I led communications and outreach for CORE's mobile testing initiative across NYC's five boroughs. Collaborating with local governments, faith-based organizations, and mutual aid groups, we provided free, accessible testing services to underserved communities. Our outreach materials were culturally responsive and available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Through these efforts, we tested over 13,000 New Yorkers within three months.
